Dana founded "Dana's Dog Care" in 1999. She has raised, trained, and shown her own Champion Alaskan Malamutes since the early 90's. Her son, Timothy has been raising, training, and showing his Champion Beagles since he was 8 years old. Currently at 19 years old, continues to show his Beagles & conducts his own training sessions with our clients.
Even though, Dana was very successful with her work in Human Resources, she retired after 17 years, to start her Dog Boarding, Training, Dog Walking Business in 1999.
Dana purchased 15 acres in Prince William County in 2003, built the house, and completed the county process to aquire her Special Use Permit to operate a Dog Boarding Business. In 2005 the Board of Supervisors voted unamimously to approve "Dana's Dog Care". "Dana's Dog Care" is family owned and operated. Only family members interact with clients and their dogs.
We value our clients and base our care on honesty, flexiblity, compassion and hard work. We also believe that the cost of safe, experienced, loving dog care should be resonably priced.
We strive to emulate our guest dogs home routine, without added costs. Human interaction, free play, dog walks are not added charges, just a normal part of our guest dogs day.
